Massage Therapy

This is a common form of therapy that is widely practiced and accepted in the United States and around the world. There are many forms of massage, including deep tissue, sports massage, stone massage, Shiatsu, Swedish massage, etc. Massage is a form of therapeutic touch or kneading of the body, skin, muscles, joints and connective tissue with the hands. Massage can increase circulation, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and promote overall health and well being. There are many reputable schools and certifications that can be obtained for a career in massage therapy. I recall a lot of massage therapy given by family members and my grandfather would never allow it. Well that is until he was dying and welcomed the relief from pain. He couldn’t believe he waited so long to receive this lovely touch therapy.
