If you are on the path to self improvement, healing, enlightenment, etc. you will often hear a teacher say that the information is inside you. Go within. You can’t seek outside yourself. Uh-huh. What does that mean anyway? I would hear those words and think meditation, talk to my guides, angles or higher self….. The knowing would unfold in my brain. Well I finally figured out what it means. And unfortunately, I can’t tell you because you can only understand through heart knowingness. Dropping from head to heart. It is kind of like experiencing a roller coaster ride that drops so quickly that your stomach is above the head. You are temporarily shifted or suspended in midair. You have the ah-ha moment of realization. The good news is there are maps and tools to get there. Starting with for example yoga in its truest form, meditation, therapy, readings, near death experiences, experiential workshops, etc. etc. So first you must INTEND and then ASK. You will receive eventually. The time depends on how closely you listen or should I say your heart FEELS. And in regard to seeking within and not outside yourself, know the world outside you is the reflection and the way you evaluate your life. If it is ugly and not pretty that’s when you go within because you are creating your world. Yes, imagine that! You are not the victim you think you are.

Today’s Blog is about Forgiveness. Forgiveness is probably one of the many reasons we are existing on this planet. I believe we came here to learn and teach love and what better way to do that than through forgiveness. What does forgiveness have to do with healing? Negative thoughts, judgments and beliefs contribute to illness and disease.  You are what you eat and you are your thoughts as well. Mind, body and spirit are all connected. Wishing you could change something from the past is completely pointless! Wishing is an illusion and a false statement because it is impossible to go back unless you can time travel. Asking forgiveness and giving forgiveness is all you can do to heal a situation that you may have feelings of pain, regret and remorse. The reason we participate in remorseful actions is to learn forgiveness – that is the whole point. More importantly forgiveness is knowing there is no right or wrong. We are all doing the best we can in that moment. The process of acceptance for what is leads us towards our souls growth and allows us to experience being human. It is to learn self-love and love of others. Wishing you can change the past is self-hatred. Not loving self is the fastest way to disease. Allowing yourself and others to be were they are at in any given moment is a journey to health and wellbeing.
